The forecast promises good weather and we start early. Around Corfu the waters are very busy with ferries and vessels in all directions.

At the entrance to the Ambrakian Gulf lies Preveza. The berthing place we find alongside the quay appears very loud because the bars don't seem to close at night.

Tuesday, July 5th
We sail further in the Ambrakian Gulf where we spot some dolphins. The small bay we find is nice and quite. We stay here for the night.

Wednesday, July 6th
The entrance to the isthmus of Lefkada is hardly visible. We have to wait till the swing bridge opens.

The small city of Lefkada has a very special atmosphere. The last earthquake was in 2003. The inhabitants rebuilt their houses in a very special way.

Thursday, July 7th
The island of Lefkada is not as touristy developed as Corfu. Small villages, wonderful bays and white beaches.

Porto Kastiki is a very beautiful bay. Unfortunately all the tourist boats from the area know this too. Lemmings????

We look for a quieter place for lunch. The restaurant we find offers a wonderful view to the bay of Syvota we mark for later times in our minds.

Through the Gulf of Patras and Corinth to Trizonia
