Friday, July 8th Our destination today is the island of Ithaca, the home of Ulysses. On the east side we find a wonderful bay with a private beach just for ourselves. Jochen brings out the landline. In the evening we have to share our beach with a flock of goats. It is amazing how these animals can climb. During the night our idyllic spot isn't as nice anymore because the swell of the passing ferries far out reaches us even in here. Saturday, July 9th and Sunday July 10th Trizonia is a tiny island on the east side of the Gulf of Corinth. The construction of the marina has come to a halt and the place looks very much like the marinas we have seen in the south of Italy. The village with its small village is nice and invites us to stay one more day. |
