We rent a little twingo to discover Apulia. The steep coast is about 100m high und we look in wonderful bays only reachable by boat.

The thermal springs of San Cesareo attract many visitors. In the middle of the city is an ancient bath.

Otranto is the most eastern city of Italy. The distance to Albania is only 70 kilometre.

Lecce is the capital of the Salento; it is also called the "Baroque City of the South".

The Roman Amphitheatre was discovered in the thirties. The sister column of the one in Brindisi is erected here.

As the third city of our round trip through Apulia we visit Gallipoli situated in the Gulf of Taranto. The old city lies on an island and is connected by a bridge to the land.
