Our first destination in Spain is Figueres. We passed this town so often and never visited the museum of Salvatore Dali. This time we do and it won't be the last time! After our visit we realized we missed so much we have to come again!

Dali promised his wife Gala a castle. It took about forty years to fullfill this promise. He found and bought the small castle in Pubol and renovated it to his and her liking. They never lived there together, he only visited her by invitation. There are lots of Dali creations in the place and his famous elefants one finds in the garden.

After we make sure our bikes are locked and safe we visit the flower show in the old town of Girona.

Barcelona is not just a city, it has to be seen. Wherever you can in this city you meet the archtitect Antonio Gaudi and his work. A few days are simply not enough. We have three - means again: We have to come back! Not only for the excellent tapas!!!
