The Parco Archeologico outside Siracusa offeres several worthseeing sides. The most interesting attraction is the "Ear of Dyonisos, a 23m high and 60m long cave with a fantastic accustic.
Ortigia, the old town quarter of Siracusa is in our opinion the town with the nicest flair in Sicily.
The most famous son of the city is most likely Archimedes.
The Natur Reserve Cava Grande del Cassibile offers a campsite high above the valley with a fantastic view. We are just by ourselves!
Noto is known as the nicest baroque town of Sicily. Palaces and churches everywhere.
Vendicari is a small Nature Reserve for birds at the coast with an Agriturismo Campside. The Lady prepares the excellent food herself and due to the low temperatures she even serves the dishes to the camper. The parc offers many walking paths along the coast. There are no birds at this time of the year but flowers in blossom galore.
A dream campsite at the beach - unfortunately in the morning a market is built up around us!
