A walk in Flensburg

Next destination is Handewitt where my girlfriend from school lives nowadays. We haven't seen each other for 35 years and are ver happy about this reunion.

That's where the birthday party takes place.

Along the beach we can walk to Danmark.
|
|
After refilling our water supply we start our way back. We planned a side trip to the Baltic Sea but the weather report announced a heavy storm with ice and snow. We decided to head directly south - a wise decision because later in the day the bridge across channel North-Baltic-Sea is shut down because of heavy squalls.

We stay overnight in the Naturpark "Südheide".
|
|
When we wake up in the morning we are surrounded by snow. But ibnside our new home it is warm and cosy.
Qu8ite pleased with our first trip we are back in Weinheim in the afternoon. |
