The only thing in Lakki at Leros is a small marina. Even the "Lonely Planet" says: Nobody wants to stay here. So we leave, pass Kalymnos and Kos and reach Knidos. We round the cape even with strong wind, Again we drop anchor in the "Museum", it is much more crowded than a few weeks ago. We fear at least one chain crosses ours but the skipper manages to free our boat early in the morning. There is no doubt - we are again in gulet country. A huge armada moves towards us. The moderate wind takes to Suzan and Hüseyin. It is as nice as last years, no change. We stay here for two days, a nice ending for this trip. To clear customs we have to go to Symi in Greece again. The Greek authorities act as usual, no comment to that. When we have our stamp we leave. With the man tourists arriving I guess this is the best we can do ... As if it wanted to say Good Bye to us we have the wind from all directions on this last leg - sometimes even with 40 knots. We manage to reach Marmaris. |
