We do four short day trips to Finike. One day is a full day of rain!

In a now by us well known bay in the Gulf of Fethiye we even spent two nights.

The Egyptian sand is hanging in the air and the rain applies it to the boat. It looks so dirty that Rainer can't stand it anymore and tries to wash it off with salt water. Meanwhile I take a walk over the hill to the next bay.

Soon we are in Fethiye where we get fresh sweet water. There are also many "handsome barbers" where Rainer gets a long needed haircut.

Fethiye is a pleasant little city with a huge gulet fleet. Above the city are Lykian tombs.

Here we meet again with the "Hegulf" and her crew. They are on their way to the Aegean Sea while we will return to Finike. We will keep contact.

A French rod needs a French bait!

In the "turtlebay" this time is no turtle but an armada of squids. They tempt me to go swimming for the first time but not without a 3mm suit because the water temperature is only 19 degrees!

Our berthing place next to the little restaurant in Castellorizon is still available. But this time the night is rather unpleasant because of the incoming waves. In the morning the sky is overcast and it is even raining. Only when we reach Finike later in the day the sky clears up again.

Before cleaning the boat we take a daytrip to Termessos near Antalya.
